The TV-D10-XM-3MP/3W is a miniature, solar powered wire-free ball dome outdoor security camera operating on the iCSee smartphone application.
Technical Specifications
The camera's hardware components focus on energy conservation and target-based recording to extend its battery cycle.
-
Video Quality: 3 Megapixel resolution providing 2K Ultra HD video (2048 x 1536) with a 100-degree wide-angle view and a 5x digital zoom.
-
Power Setup: Driven by a built-in 6000mAh rechargeable lithium battery (composed of dual 18650 cells). It maintains power via a 3W monocrystalline silicon solar panel linked through a 3-metre extension cable.
-
Storage limits: Features a weather-sealed slot supporting a MicroSD card up to 128GB for continuous or motion-activated local storage.
-
Standby Efficiency: Offers up to 180 days of standby time on a full charge without sunlight, assuming standard use (roughly 10 activation events per day).
-
Environmental Build: Housed in an IP66 waterproof and dust-proof chassis made of ABS and PVC plastics.
Key Operational Features
Thermal Motion Triggers: The hardware leverages a 10-metre Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor. Rather than relying on simple pixel shifts, it acts strictly on moving heat signatures from people or cars. This configuration minimizes battery depletion from blowing wind, shadows, or rain.
-
Day & Night Mechanics: The camera relies on 6 Infrared LEDs providing up to 10 metres of night vision range in complete darkness. It transitions into black-and-white mode automatically via an integrated ambient light sensor.
-
Communication: Built with an internal speaker and microphone to facilitate real-time two-way audio intercom features through your mobile phone.
Setup and Mobile Connection Steps
To configure the device for the first time, your mobile device must be connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz frequencies are not supported by the camera's wireless receiver).
-
Charge First: Connect the camera dome directly to a USB power adapter for 4–6 hours before outdoor deployment to ensure the internal batteries are fully baseline-charged.
-
Download the App: Search for and install the iCSee application from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Open the app and register a user account.
-
Trigger Pairing Mode: Power on the camera. Wait for the internal voice prompt to state "Wait to be configured". If you do not hear this prompt, remove the weather cap and press the physical Reset button for 5 seconds.
-
Link the Network: In the iCSee app, select the "+" (Add Device) icon, tap Battery Camera, and follow the on-screen prompts to input your local Wi-Fi password.
- Scan QR Code: The app will generate a temporary QR code on your mobile display. Hold your camera lens roughly 15 to 20 cm away from your phone screen until it acknowledges with a tone, finalising the pairing
