The HY-929 is a professional-grade acoustic surveillance and diagnostic tool engineered to capture high-fidelity audio through solid structures. By utilising a high-sensitivity piezo contact microphone, the device detects sound-wave vibrations that occur when sound strikes surfaces like brick, concrete, metal, wood or glass.
These physical vibrations are converted into electrical signals and amplified up to 20,000 times, allowing users to monitor conversations or identify mechanical issues that are otherwise shielded by thick partitions. Its versatile design makes it equally effective for law enforcement investigations and specialised maintenance tasks, such as locating leaking pipes or detecting pest infestations within walls.
Designed for ease of use in the field, the HY-929 features a streamlined interface consisting of a power switch, volume/sensitivity dial and dual-sensor input. Users can choose between the heavy-duty circular contact microphone for flat surfaces or the specialised 15cm needle probe for tight spaces like keyholes, cracks or pre-drilled holes.
When paired with the optional recording module the device functions as a comprehensive evidence-gathering tool, storing high-quality audio directly to a microSD card for later analysis. Whether navigating the complexities of modern building acoustics or conducting tactical surveillance, the HY-929 provides the amplification power necessary to pierce through structural barriers.
