The AR-01 battery operated Wi-Fi audio recorder is miniature size (1.7cm*3cm*5.5cm) audio recorder / monitor device to listen live and download any recordings made. It doesn't rely on SIM card transmission and is based on wifi connection instead, so no monthly costs and reliable wireless connection via wifi router. It has three battery power saving modes for long standby use up to 20 days in voice activation recording mode with access to live audio monitoring.

This recorder is used to monitor live audio remotely with unlimited range to your smartphone anytime / anywhere. All you need is access to wi-fi to connect recorder and wi-fi or 4G on smartphone or tablet. Download free CamSC Pro app from your app store and pair recorder to app. Within seconds you are up and running enabling live audio with crystal clear clarity, you can record constantly or on sound activation on 1 or 5 minute files and continues to record for as long as sound is present. When activated you receive push notification alert to phone. Download any recordings made at your convenience and playback on your phone or tablet device. Switch notifications on/off, set sound activated sensitivity, delete recordings, change settings.

The microphone has excellent audio quality to ensure high fidelity live audio and recordings, when played back you will be amazed at what it can hear. Recording requires microSD memory card and supports 8GB-128GB memory capable of storing 2100 hours of WAV audio record files. App supports cloud storage (fee applies) and recorder still requires memory card fitted for cloud storage. Loop recording so if memory card is full it continues recording deleting oldest files. Works connected to charger or external battery pack for longer periods if required.

Three working modes as below

1, Continuous record mode - Connected to the network user can check live audio at any time and record continuously. In this mode listening live and recording non stop battery lasts 7-8 hours (current consumption is 80mA). Continuous recording without live audio battery lasts 12-14 hours (current consumption is 50mA).

2, Power saving mode A - Connected to the network user can check live audio at any time, receive push notifications and record audio when sound-activated. In this mode battery lasts up to 14 days (Standby current consumption is 1.6mA) based on 5 activations recording / live audio for approximately 15 minutes per day, the more activations and live monitoring the less battery lasts.

3, Power saving mode B -  Connected to the network user can ONLY monitor live audio within 1 minute of each sound-activation, receive push notifications and record audio when sound-activated. In this mode battery lasts up to 20 days (Standby current consumption is 1.6mA) based on 5 activations recording / live audio for approximately 15 minutes per day, the more activations and live monitoring use less battery lasts.

If needed, recorder can be plugged to phone charger or external battery for long term operation. 5v power bank battery (portable phone charger) can be used to extend battery life. If used with external 10000mA portable power bank battery on continuous record will last  over 112 hours instead of 7 hours. 10000mA / 80mA @ 90% = 112 hours plus internal battery of 7 hours. As an example in mode A battery standby time is around 232 days and in mode B over 300 days (without any live audio / recording). Please note: permanent use without removal from external power source can harm internal battery over long period of 1-2 years and possibly stop working. Life expectancy of recorder battery health is 2-3 years when used within design parameters.
